We started the long trek across the Pamlico Sound much earlier this trip, to hopefully avoid any 'sporty' travel. We were hugely successful, and made it all the way up the Pamlico River, and the Pungo Rivers with barely a breeze. Most of the marinas were full, but we found a spot at this marina, conveniently located next to Sea Breeze, Coconuts, and new friends Sandy and John on Wanderlust Too. Nothing to do in the area, and no restaurant, so we all pulled up deck chairs and had some docktails there on the dock.

Good enough. It was a quiet evening, and we left first thing to make it to the edge of the Albemarle Sound by evening.
