I had read so much about this marina and the surrounding area. The advertisements went as far as saying 'Don't miss this stop! It has so much cool stuff, and shops, and restaurants, that its worth the trip'. Turns out if you are a little boat thats true. If you are a big boat, you are relegated to the BIG marina, where you have to drive to get to the cool part. Bummer.

If was still pretty cool though, and the marina was beautiful. There was a restaurant, and a little convenience store within walking distance, which is always nice. There was a storm blowing through on the day we were going to leave, so we hung out for an additional day. I think that's going to be a pattern for us. Ugh

When the storm blew through we got ready to leave, and while walking around the marina discovered a floating log (actually George found it and told me) that was holding a family of turtles. Technically speaking I don't know their familial status, but it looked like a mama, daddy, and baby turtles. So theres that.

All in all a really nice stop, but not quite what they advertised.
