Blind River was a great stop. We really enjoyed hanging out at the dock, watching the beavers, and visiting. The next door neighbor told us late last night that the power was getting turned off all day. We had sort of thought about staying for another day, but that killed it. We took off for Thessalon Harbor first thing. We went outside, into the North Channel, so not much to see besides water. Here is the view for a lot of the day.

Occasionally you would look out and see an anomaly.... Something that doesn't seem to fit. This was that case. From far away it looked like a whitecap that just kept splashing. When you got closer, it is a freaking rock, right at surface level. That is a prop ending rock.

Here is the splashing over it.... just seems out of place.

We found a spot in the bay, right near this gravel pit, that would be fine for the evening. The water is clear and not too deep. See the anchor rope?

The setting sun was beautiful. If not for that cloud, it would have been spectacular. I will take beautiful.

The sun has set.....

Here is the gravel pit

Such a pretty sunset, but I feared when it got to the cloud it would be gone.

The view from the other side of the anchorage

Tomorrow we will head to Thessalon. If the weather is good, we will anchor. There is a marina in case we need it.
