We were looking for a quick trip, and we found it. The trip all the way to Georgetown was too much of a journey, so we split it up. McClellanville is what the map sent me to, so thats where I searched. Leland Oil came up as the best place to tie up and buy gas. Hhmmm.....doesnt sound that fancy, or offer a lot of amenities. 🤔

Good thing I wasnt looking for amenities, or creature comforts of ANY kind. Lol. It was a quick 3 HR cruise, in questionable 3 foot depths, with dolphins swimming around us the whole way. Nice 😎 When we arrived around 3 we found Lacey waiting to help us tie up to tueir one dock. Not hard to find a spot, since it was just us and 3 shrimp boats 😕 Well....it was exactly what we were looking for. A safe place to tie up. That is exactly what we found. Nothing fancy ...

By morning the smell of old shrimp and diesel fuel was burned into my sinuses. 😖 We thought about staying for a while, but no. Lets not. There are a few pictures ...and maybe if we would have stayed to look at the Florissant sized town, we would have loved it. Who knows.
