Four months is a long time to wait. Oh sure, we got a lot done during that time, but geez.... Its a long wait.

We got all the service work done, all the boat improvements done, and any little side jobs done too. In addition, we spent a lot of time touring Savannah and the Coastal Empire. We meant to leave 3 weeks ago, then 2 weeks ago, then for sure last week, and something always got in the way. I sort of expected something to pop up this morning, but it didn't. 😁 Yay!

We left this morning at high tide. 10 o'clock. It was supposed to be a beautiful day, but it ended up being rainy and gloomy the whole day. Oh well....still awesome. We were getting nearly 2 MPG for half the trip.....almost to the top of Hilton Head Island, but then turned up the river towards Beaufort. Dropped to less than 1 MPG in a hurry! 🤣 darned currents. We had dolphins accompany us for a lot of the trip. That's so fun 💗

Made it to Beaufort SC by 4, then checked out the area a bit. Quick dinner, but cant stay out too long..... Those no-see-ums are horrible. They arent as bad in mid day, so tomorrow is sight seeing. 💕

I did some research into Beaufort, to make sure we dont miss anything. The general consensus is that its a cool town, but not as cool as Charleston. Stay tuned.... I'll let you know!
